Kissy [ADOPTED NOVEMBER 3] is a loving, five year old, black female who is spayed, heartworm tested, up to date on shots, microchipped and ready for a new home. She came to us from a private breeder and is visually impaired. She is being evaluated by a canine opthamologist in late October to see how much vision she has and to consider treatment options to restore her sight. She is good with adults, children, and other dogs. She is now in good weight. She has a very sound temperament and is very good for grooming. She will make someone a wonderful companion.

Update: Kissy has progressive retinal atrophy. Her visual loss will continue until she is blind. The good news is that one of the Shorewood Volunteers is going to adopt her as soon as they are settled into their new home on November 1st.
