Emma [ADOPTED DECEMBER 5] is a four year old sable female. She loves to play fetch and will bring the ball back to you, lay down, and then give you the ball. Emma gets along well with other dogs and cats and loves to play outside. Emma is good in a crate and will hop right in, all you have to say is "Emma, please get in your crate!" Emma is housebroken and crate trained and seems to know basic commands.
Emma came to rescue from a family where it appears she was a much loved dog. However her dad had to go to Iraq and her mom was expecting a child and was going back to school. They felt it would be in Emma's best interest to go to rescue and find a family who had the time for her she deserves. Emma loves people, but will bark at strangers on a walk. She loves to "talk!" She really is a great dog. She does have a tendency to get ear infections so will need a home that will diligently clean them out.
