Cherokee [ADOPTED JULY 30] is a senior dog who came to us from a Wisconsin shelter. The old boy is a little stiff in one knee and would benefit from some arthritis supplements but otherwise is quite healthy. He does best when he goes for frequent walks. His foster family walks him about 4 times a day. He welcomes other dogs on these walks and welcomes humans with a friendly bark and a tail wag. He loves attention but is undemanding. He likes some cats, but he is picky about his cat friends. He is both housetrained and crate trained. He will make someone a wonderful companion.
