CJ [ADOPTED JUNE 25] is a 5 year old male who we received from a shelter in Wisconsin. CJ is neutered, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations. CJ gets along well with cats and other dogs. In order to increase CJ's chances of adoption, we have enrolled him in a dog school class. Much to his foster mom's surprise he is very easy to train, and even showed us that he already knew how to shake! He sits well on command, lays, knows "leave it," and has an excellent recall. CJ is housebroken and crate trained and loves to go for long walks and likes to sit outside. CJ's ideal home would be active and without children. CJ loves to play ball and loves any kind of plush toy. He will not destroy a toy, he loves them too much! CJ's foster family loves him dearly.

Update from CJ's foster family, 6/23/05: CJ continues to excel in foster care. He has graduated from doggie school (no surprise, we knew he was smart) and on the last night won the contest for fastest recall. In order to win he had to beat a German Shepherd, 2 Viszlas, and a Golden Retriever. The competition was tough but was no match for CJ. CJ is ready for his forever home now.
