Polar [ADOPTED APRIL 7] is a parti colored, white with red, field coated Cocker. He is approximately 5-6 years old and a bit taller than average, but by no means large. He was seized by Animal Control due to neglect. He had dreadlocks that were 6 or more inches long and had to be cut off his ears and lower body. A piece of chain link fence was found in one of the mats on his ear. He was very good for grooming though and seemed to enjoy the whole process of getting clean again. He was probably kept as an outside dog, so will need work on his housetraining. He is however crate trained and good with most other dogs. He loves rawhide, plenty of attention and is learning what toys are all about. He is interested in cats, but does not chase them. He has also been interested in small animals, but not overly so. He is just a warm cuddly Cocker who is looking for someone to take much better care of him for the remainder of his life.
