Kip [ADOPTED OCTOBER 28] is a handsome boy who celebrated his first birthday on Sept. 30th. He came to us from a Wisconsin shelter after he was surrendered by a family for nipping at their four year old. He had been adopted from the shelter at the age of 7 months. He was placed in a home with two children under ten and no prior dog experience. It is our policy at Shorewood Cocker Rescue to never adopt to families with such young children unless there is already a dog in a home. We have found Kip to be a typically active puppy who may now do best in an all adult home. He is housetrained and crate trained but really needs some persuasion to go in his crate. He's a young dog and would benefit from some obedience classes.
