Minnie [ADOPTED MAY 25] lost her home of ten years when her family moved into a home that she could not share with them. She was forced to either live in the garage or be tied in the yard. She did not adjust well to this situation and would bark at anyone passing by. The family felt that they had no choice but to give her up. At 34 pounds she could stand to lose about 5 or 6 pounds. She is housetrained and spent her last ten years in a home with children. Minnie is a quiet dog who does fine with other dogs and cats. Although she did bark a bit her first day or so in rescue, she has settled down nicely. She is not a dog that likes to be left outside for hours at a time. She prefers to be inside with the humans.
