Bridget [ADOPTED MARCH 18] is a black female who is 4 - 5 years old. She is a special cocker and such a sweetheart. She came to a shelter from a puppy mill. The shelter experienced a fire and a large number of animals there died. Bridget had to share an outdoor pen with other small dogs. Bridget has seen an ophthalmologist and she does cataracts in both eyes with limited vision. She uses her sense of smell and does well getting around in her foster home. She finds her way to the door to go outside, walks around the snowy lawn and comes back to the door. Bridget is such a happy girl, sits by your feet wherever you are, and gets along with everyone.
She would greatly benefit by being placed in a home with another dog. Because of her background she will need be to be placed in a home with a securely fenced yard.
