Cookie [ADOPTED DECEMBER 18] is a 2-year-old male who came to us from a rural shelter with a high kill rate. He weighs 28 pounds but is not a big Cocker, he's just a chunky guy. He just was neutered and had a cherry eye repaired so right now he needs some time to settle into his new surroundings. He is a happy, low key guy. He probably would fit in anywhere.

We are still evaluating his housetraining skills.

Update from Cookie's Foster Mom: Cookie has been in his current foster home since Sept. 12th and has made great progress. He is a very sweet, loving pup that is initially a little fearful of new people and situations, but with a little time and patience, will bond with you and become your best buddy.

He loves nothing better than to cuddle up on your lap. You will quickly become his Number 1 favorite. His squeak toys are his next favorite things and he faithfully carries them with him everywhere he goes.

He gets along well with his foster Cocker brother and sister, sleeps in his crate at night and is doing very well on his housebreaking. This great little pup is very much looking forward to his forever home.
