This sweet girl is Millie [ADOPTED FEBRUARY 19]. She found her way to SCR after being picked up by a couple of caring teens. They witnessed her dodging traffic during our first blizzard. Poor Millie was dangerously thin and literally covered with ice. The teens got her home, thawed out, warmed up and fed. They were just sure someone was looking for her. After several weeks of running lost & found ads with no response, they contacted rescue. Millieís foster mom soon realized that little Miss Millie was truly a gem in the rough. She is a petite black cocker at a healthy 22lbs, with a natural tail. We estimate that she is approximately 5-6 years of age. Millie is truly a happy, good natured and laid back girl. She does well with other dogs but is not too interested in playing. She will (begrudgingly) share her foster momís lap with another dog but may grumble a little initially. Millie can be quite the acrobat and has an extraordinary ability to jump farther and higher than most dogs of her age and size. Be assured that she hasnít used her talent for mischief, but rather, to secure a spot on her foster momís bed! Thatís okay because Millie is completely trustworthy in the house, no crate needed. She would be best placed in a mature household with no young children. She has not been cat tested.
