Lacy [ADOPTED MAY 22] is a beautiful, loving 5-year-old little girl that spent her first years of life producing puppies for a commercial breeder. Now that she is considered "too old" rescue has given her a new outlook on life. She is shy and timid, but will approach people for attention. Lacy is very sweet, and absolutely adores attention one on one. Typically we prefer our "mill" dogs to go to homes with another dog in the home for socializing skills, but Lacy would be fine as an only pup or as a companion to an existing dog in the home. One look of those big baby browns and she will have you melting. She prefers the quietness of her kennel at times and other times she likes to be by her foster mom's desk while she works, waiting for a pat on the head. She is well behaved and does not be kenneled. Appropriate chew toys should be made available. Lacy is crate trained and housetrained. Because Lacy can startle easily, it is absolutely mandatory that she go to a home with a securely fenced in area.
