Shelia [ADOPTED JANUARY 17] is a 6-7 year old, tri-color female who came into an urban shelter as a stray. She is a very sweet girl who is both housetrained and crate trained. She very much likes to be by her humans. She is very good at staring at you while you are eating and will even sing a song or two. She never gets on the furniture in her foster home so that must be something she was trained not to do. She is quiet dog so she should pretty much fit into any home.
We did notice that her walk was a bit irregular. After taking x-rays we found that she probably fractured a leg sometime in her life and when it healed we found that the distance between the femur and the pelvis is slightly smaller on one side. As I vet said “ That is just who she is”. It is not something that will ever bother her.
