Marley [Adopted 1/8/2011] is a small, black, male cocker approximately 3.5 years old. He came from a shelter in Iowa where they were out of room and he had to go. He came in as an unclaimed stray, tho his foster mom cannot believe that he was never reclaimed. He is very energetic in his activities, but knows to chew on appropriate items only and is housetrained and crate trained. Marley does not like being crated and will let you know this, but he is well behaved and he is only crated when left alone for long periods of time and at bedtime. He gets along with all people, dogs, and is not cat tested. Marley is very sweet and loving. He would benefit from some obedience training; he does know the command sit. His foster mom has not officially timed him, but she believes he may hold the world record for how fast he can eat his food! He needs some work on the leash and currently is used to a fenced in yard to do his business.
Marley’s New Year’s resolution is to be adopted by an active family to play with him or another playful dog as a playmate. Could it be you?
