Let me introduce you to Sassy [Adoptied 5/8/2011]. Sassy is a 6 year old, tri colored female that came from a commercial breeder in Wisconsin. She is a sweet little girl that loves attention and to play with her foster siblings in the home. Sassy lives up to her name when she is excited, as if to say “hurry up, I’m hungry” or “hurry up, I have to go out” but otherwise is very quiet. Sassy likes to be near her people, but is not a cuddler. She is fine tuning her house training skills and doing very well and is also crate trained. Sassy is not into dog toys very much but does like to chew on her bones for stress relief, like a Nylabone or Kong. She does know “sit” and is working on “shake”. Sassy had cataract surgery, and even though her right eye was a success, her left was not and so rescue had the eye removed to eliminate the pain she was feeling. She currently takes a drop a day in her remaining eye for medicine and will need to continue to take that for the rest of her life. This little girl has so much personality and love to give to her forever family; hurry and get her because her foster home is falling madly in love with her!
