Brody [Adopted July 12, 2014] is a buff colored cocker with freckles on his nose. He is 12 years old and is a little overweight but that does not slow him down. We are currently working on taking some of the excess weight off. He has a wonderful personality and has blended in well with my other dogs. He loves to play with my cat and is very gentle with her. Brody has been one of the most entertaining dogs I have ever fostered. He plays with his toys and keeps himself entertained. He discovered a talking ball that I have and it's one of his favorite toys now. Sometimes I just sit and watch him and smile. He enjoys his walks but does pull a little initially, then he settles in. Brody's previous owner had trained Brody to go on pee pads because of his long hours away from home so we are in the process of taking care of that. He has learned to go to the back door when he has to go out and enjoys his time outside. Brody is not crate trained but he settles in nicely at night. This is one dog that I will definitely miss when he goes into his forever home. Could that be your home?
Brody has been with me for 2 months now. He is a great dog. I recently took him on a field trip to Wisconsin where I have a very large yard. He loved it. He would chase his ball all over and then just lay in the grass with his ball in his mouth. I swear he was smiling at me. He actually plays ball all by himself. He stands over the ball and pushes it back between his legs and then turns around and does it back the other direction. He will continue to do this for several minutes before he trots off with the ball in his mouth. He has lost several pounds and is now completely housebroken. He lets me know when he needs to go out. Having gone on peepads for 5 years, it was just a matter of getting him on a schedule to go outside. He is also a good watchdog. So, if you are looking for a great dog, please consider Brody. you won't regret it.
