Fred [Adopted June 2016] is a wonderful 7 year old male Cocker that came from a retired breeder. He is a very sweet little dog who gets along well with the other dogs in my home as well as my cats. He is a little skittish around loud noises so he would do better in a home with another dog. He would also do better in a home with someone home during the day as he needs to go out every couple of hours. Fred comes immediately when I call him. He will come and stand in front of me and put his paws on my lap so I can give him a hug. He sleeps in a crate at night but is out during the day with my other dogs. He has learned to let me know when he has to go outside or else he will just go out when the others go out. When I let him out he runs like the wind round the yard. I love to watch him. He is so happy. He has come a long way with his leash manners since we have been walking every day. He likes to greet other people when we are out walking. Fred does have to be on a special dog food to maintain his good health. It’s well worth the extra cost because it prevents vet bills.
Update - 5/9/2016
Fred has been with me for 2 months and has really come out of his shell. He is a very happy little dog that is enjoying life. He is completely housetrained. He sleeps in his kennel at night but the rest of the time he runs thru the house with the other dogs. Fred does have to be on a special diet but it is not costly, Fred would be a great addition to any home. He loves to be near you whenever possible.
