Passed over the Rainbow Bridge 4/10/15
It was with much sadness on April 10, 2015 we let Kirby join Meg in doggie heaven. For the second time in two years he had pancreatitis and he could not fight it off with the medicines this time. Karen brought him to us in Nov. 2004. He was a frightened little pup being left in a new home but he soon adjusted and became a good companion to Meg. He followed us everywhere. No squirrel or crow was safe in our yard and he loved to chase the airplanes – he never managed to catch one! We miss him terribly. Our home is not the same without a pet.

Kirby [ADOPTED NOVEMBER 8] is a beautiful black/white parti-color male who is 2-3 years old. He is already housetrained but would benefit from some obedience training. He was surrendered by his owner. It is our belief that he was just too much dog for her. He is a very sweet dog but does need an experienced owner. Kirby is a dog that needs to know what the rules are. Once he understands what is expected of him, he is a pussycat. He is a show type Cocker so will need frequent grooming. Kirby gets along well with other dogs but is not particularly good with cats.
