Rocco went to the rainbow bridge on 4/18, 2012. He was deaf and blind, despite cataract surgery that failed, and was diagnosed with cancer last Valentine's Day. Despite his medical problems, he remained the "gentleman" that you described him as until the very end. He was a wonderful dog, and we loved him so much from the moment he entered into our lives. We have 9 grandkids and he was the sweetest dog ever around them.
Rocco [ADOPTED OCTOBER 17] is a 9 year old male who was originally adopted from SCR several years ago, however due to the economy his beloved owner had to give him up. One of our volunteers quickly picked him up and he immediately bonded with her. Rocco has been around visiting children in the past and did well with them, he also gets along with cats and would like them to want to play! He gets along well with other dogs and when excited is a true wigglebutt. Rocco loves to be outside with his people.
Rocco is housetrained, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and rides well in the car.
