Keegan [ADOPTED JULY 29] is a wonderful dog who really needs a break. At the age of 18 months he finds himself looking for a home. Keegan was in a home where he was in a very stressful situation. He became fearful and this resulted in submissive wetting. He was loved by one member of the family and the rest of the family was unwilling to take the time to understand his fears. The situation progressed to the point where the only person who loved him decided it would be best to find him a new home.
Keegan was very fearful his first day in rescue. He promptly settled down and has had no issues in the several weeks we have had him. His is housetrained and is wonderful with other animals. He has completed several obedience classes and has a Canine Good Citizen certificate. He has started agility.
We feel that a quiet adult home would be best for Keegan so that he can gain his confidence back.
