Lincoln 131

Lincoln [Adopted 1/31/2012] was one of two dogs ( the other was Paige)  that came to us from a rural shelter.  Both dogs had been tied outside with no food or water.  The local animal control officer encouraged the owner to surrender them.  Our groomer spent  hours shaving them both down.   Lincoln certainly was a diamond in the rough.  His foster mom tells us that he is housetrained and walks well on a leash in nice weather.  In cold weather he is a couch potato.    He gets along well with everyone including cats.    He is 6 years old and appears to have spent all 6 of those years with Paige.  For this reason he should go to a home with another dog.  He foster mom has seen how he gained confidence when following the lead of her dog.  He does not like to be left alone but if there is another dog he is fine,  He does not have a destructive bone in his body.,
