Passed over the Rainbow Bridge 10/22/2012
Buster (Indy 01) was around a year or two old when he arrived from Shorewood. Every day for three months he was almost sent back, but he became a much loved and adored member of our family. He didn't like the other dogs and would keep his distance, but he loved his people, especially when cookies were involved or bananas were accidentally left within his reach. He loved to go for walks and take naps in the sunshine and if you put a hat on him, he would pose for the camera. Buster died quietly at home at approximately 1:00 AM on October 22, 2012 in the arms of his human sister. He never let anyone hold him throughout his entire life, and his sister believes that was his final gift to her and her mom. Until we meet again, my beautiful boy.
Indy [ADOPTED DECEMBER 18] is a one year old, silver buff male Cocker who is neutered, heartworm tested and up to date on his shots. He came to us from a shelter in Indiana, thus the name. He is a taller, Cocker with a field coat. He is crate trained but not housetrained. He gets along well with other dogs and is friendly with people. He is not growly or protective of his food or toys. He does not like children. Perhaps there was a child in his early life who hurt him. He needs a family without children who is willing to train him as it seems he is a big puppy without any training. He is very sweet. More information on Indy as we get to know him bette
