Crossed over the Rainbow Bridge May 2020

Sarah [ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 6 AT THE WIGGLEBUTT WALK] is an adorable black and tan female, estimated to be about 3-years-old, that was picked up as a stray in southern Illinois. She was severely matted and when shaved down her coat came off like a pelt. As a result of being so matted, her skin could not breathe and she developed a mild skin infection. After two weeks on antibiotics her condition has greatly improved and her fur is growing back nicely. She should soon have a beautiful coat. Sarah is a very friendly little girl who likes everyone she meets, is good with other dogs, but has not had exposure to cats. She's doing well on her housetraining, doesn't like to be crated, and would prefer to sleep in the same room with you. Being a younger dog she enjoys running around in her yard and going for walks where she love to check out all those bunny scents.
