In Loving Memory of Gage041

From email received 4/29/2009

5 years ago I met you at an event in Racine at Petco and I adopted Gage. He was a 7-year-old surrender from Lake Geneva. You told me that he liked to ride shotgun in the car and sucked on blankets. You would think that he might chew a hole in the blanket, but after he was done, there would only be a huge wet spot. My husband and I have always adopted the older dogs from Shorewood because we know they are harder to place. Gage was our 4th adopted dog from Shorewood. Gage was one of the youngest dogs we adopted at age 7. We lost Gage on Monday and were lucky enough to have him for 5 years, almost to the day. When we adopted Gage we had another cocker rescue named Paige. She was a shy girl and Gage was loyal companion to her. We will greatly miss him.
