Passed over the Rainbow Bridge 11/29/2012
We adopted Nicki [Noel041] in 2004. She was such a timid little girl but once she realized she was in her forever home she became a velcro dog. She loved being outside in the country, walking down all our trails or just being by us. We loved her so much and miss her terribly. Her time was too short. She had to have her spleen removed for a tumor and never made is back home. We were with her when she passed. She will stay forever in our hearts. Randy and Debbie Goodman
Noel [ADOPTED JULY 22] was surrendered to rescue by her breeder. She was the only surviving puppy out of a litter of 5. For some reason the puppies from another litter constantly attacked her. For this reason the breeder felt that she would do better in a different environment. She is an active puppy but is extremely shy when you first meet her. After she warms up to you she won't leave you alone especially if you have food in your hand. At 7 months she has the activity level of a normal puppy and does well with other dogs. She likes to play with balls and loves the outdoors. Noel is not a puppy who likes to snuggle but I think that will change when she gets a home of her own. She is crate trained and is working on housetraining. She is field coated and does have a full tail. She will require only minimal grooming. She will probably do best in a quiet home. She would not be a dog for someone who has never raised a puppy. She is now at the stage where she is chewing and will require a person with a lot of patience.
