Passed over the Rainbow Bridge June 12, 2018

Ollie [ADOPTED MAY 15] is a chocolate and white male, estimated to be about 3 years old, who was found as a stray. He was covered with waste and had mats the size of golf balls imbedded in the pads of his paws. The night before he was scheduled to be euthanized, a caring animal control officer contacted rescue, took him home, shaved him down and gave him a much needed bath.

This loving, friendly, playful pup has a wonderful, easy-going temperament and is one of the nicest fosters his mom has had. It appears that he might have been confined to a crate or kennel because he didn’t seem to know what to do in his yard. Since April 4th , when Ollie came to his foster home, his foster brother and sister have helped teach him that a yard can be a lot of fun and that this is the place for “official business”.

Ollie is a happy, smart pup that loves people, gets along with other dogs, and is doing well with his housetraining. He walks well on a leash and is just starting to relax on his walks, but usually waits until he gets back to his yard to take care of business. Because of this, Ollie would do best in a home with a fenced yard and at least one other dog whose lead he can follow. He is crate trained.
