Patches crossed the bridge on 6/4/08/. Her life ended much too soon. She was only 18-month-old when she left us. Shortly after coming into rescue it was determined that she had a horrible disease known as SIBO. The rescue did its best to save her and Patches whose heart was as big as she was fought a valiant fight. When it became obvious that neither of us was a match for the disease, we knew it was time to end her suffering. We are sure that Patches is in heaven enjoying the puppy life she never knew.
On a side note: Elaine is being far to modest here. She and Patchesí very dedicated foster parents, Bob and Chris, went way above and beyond and did absolutely everything possible for this little girl. Iím very proud to be part of an organization that makes this type of commitment to all the dogs who enter our program!!
The following is Patches' Adoptable's Bio
Patches is a beautiful, 1 year old, chocolate and white female. Patches is doing well in her foster home and is getting along well with her foster parents. Patches can be a bit bossy with other dogs so we feel she would do best in a home where she would be the only dog. Patches is housebroken and crate trained. We will provide more information on her as we get to know her personality better.
