Lilly [Precious081]Passed over the Rainbow Bridge May 14, 2013.

It is with a heavy heart to let you know we lost our sweet “Lilly” (formerly Prescious081) on 5/31/2013.  We fought hard with liver disease, but it finally took her from us.  We love her so much and she will be greatly missed.  The time goes by so fast….and it was too short.
Thank you for all you do.

Precious [ADOPTION FEBRUARY 8] is a 3-year-old female who came to us as an owner surrender. Her owner although she truly loved her could no longer deal with her allergies. Precious appears to have spent most of her early life in the vets office. When it comes to food allergies most vets depend on the information they receive from the dog food manufacturers. This many times does not result in what is best for the dog. It is unfortunate that she did not come to us sooner as we could have prevented some of the damage to her ears. When Precious came to us she had constant drainage from both eyes and her ears drums were nearly closed. Within a week her eyes were cleared up just by a change in diet. Her ears will always be a problem because calcification has started to occur. We have managed to get the ears drums open again but they will always be an issue. She does have some seasonal alergies but they are not extreme. Precious's potential adopters will have to be diligent about cleaning her ears several times a week. She must be kept on a super premium food. If you are not willing to do this, she is not the dog for you.

Precious is a sweet, petite Cocker who is totally housetrained. We do not crate her because there has really never been a need to. She gets along well with other animals. She is just looking for a home where someone understands her needs and will love her and take care of her. Precious is looking for a home without kitties.
